Newport is the gateway between England & Wales. A city changing dramatically with investment totalling £250 million resulting in exciting developments, including the Friars Walk Project.
Our Newport City Campus is a modern, contemporary venue in the heart of Wales’ youngest city, that opened in 2011. Situated on the banks of the River Usk, it is the ideal location to hold board meetings, conferences, exhibitions and seminars within its fully equipped meeting rooms.
At the crown of the City Campus, with a roof top terrace overlooking the city, is the City Boardroom. Suitable for high level round-table meetings for up to 24 people, or more informal receptions & networking meetings. The boardroom is one of the smartest and most professional meeting rooms in the City utilised when hosting the Ryder Cup in 2010 and elements of the NATO Summit in 2014. The building also provides a number of tiered theatres with varying capacities, a sprung floor dance studio and an abundance of classrooms. A venue that any prospective client would be impressed by.
With links to local accommodation (hotels and student accommodation providers), the venue is also ideal for residential conferences in Newport, South Wales. Just a short drive from the Severn Bridge the venue is ideally located to service guests from all South Wales regions. Ample car parking is available adjacent to the centre (varying fees apply).
Easily accessible by train, the Newport rail station a short walk from the venue. Direct coach services from Heathrow & Gatwick airports run into Newport, with Cardiff Airport located 45 minutes and Bristol Airport just a 50 minute drive away.
